"God's intention for each of us is that we should grow to the point where he can empower us to do what we want - then he can turn us loose on the universe!"  Dallas Willard

"Do not worry about tomorrow. I have come that you might have life abundantly. Be not afraid."

Family:
Celebrating 40 years of marriage to a guy I met when I was 13! Love having adult children; crazy about granddaughters; learning to care for parents as they grow older

Hobbies and Interests:
Making handmade paper – turned into a business with my daughter! Book Club; anything to do with water – swimming, soaking, steaming; travel; writing books about paper-making with my daughter

Favorite Books:
The Genesis Trilogy (Madeline L’Engle); The Relentless Tenderness of Jesus (Brennan Manning)

Favorite Music:
I’m learning to choose silence – a new concept in my life!
I love to hear Moses Mayes at outdoor concerts – my son plays keyboards!; the Winnipeg Symphony, especially when my other son plays percussion there! I like to listen to Norah Jones, Andrea Bocelli, the Neville Brothers and, I admit, Willie Nelson.

Things I’d like to learn more about or try:

The Enneagram; Indian cooking; inline skating; travel to India; more time in France

Favorite TV Shows:
Nanny 911 (more practical life ideas regarding boundaries than we realize!); Alias

If I could be doing anything right now:
I’d be at a village market in Provence.

More about me:
“Let your incompleteness lead you to share in God’s completeness. Allow your emptiness so God may fill you.” (Quezada) I have lived long enough to know who I am, warts and all, and to know that, when there is nothing else, there is God. So, being a follower of Jesus is my vocation – my life’s work. I learn best through being part of a community of fellow-travellers.
